A cool looking label, though Cerberus is a 3-headed dog, so I think the mythology got mixed up a bit here. The beer is quite good, and it is deceiving given that it's 10% alcohol, so I guess death (or at least the end of sobriety) may come to the unwary. If that's what they're going for with the label, I'm in.
Just a blank white label, with the intent that you can draw whatever you want on while you're drinking it. Good luck doing anything elaborate, as this is a super easy-drinker. Might want to just grab a 6-pack and stick with 1 can for the drawings. Or better yet, 2 6-packs, draw on 1 can for the entire first 6-pack, then use each individual one in the 2nd pack and see how creative you get. There's some cool pictures of what people did with these on the inter-webs. I am not quite that creative.
I was perusing the available options at Trillium's Fort Point (Boston) location, and I came across this label, and it needed to be shared.
For those who don't know, Storrow Drive in Boston is a major roadway, but trucks can't go on most parts of it due to height restrictions. Inevitably during college move-ins and/or around Sept. 1, when the vast majority of Boston leases start, someone will drive a moving truck on Storrow, crash into an overpass, and cause gridlock for hours on end.
Trillium is just doing their part to raise awareness about this phenomenon, and I, for one, am thankful for it. To show my gratitude, I will go and buy numerous beers from their brewery, including this one. Hopefully I won't sit in gridlock on Storrow on that trip.
I thought this was really cool, but I am a simple man. Bonus points for being the first can variety pack I've ever seen. I had a variety of opinions on the beers, mostly good, but hey, I drank them all in one day, so that is something.
This is just an outstanding label, and looks even cooler on the can. My personal favorite is the guy who I assume is the captain, with that giant gut hanging over and the sweater on top, just awesome.
A menacing label, and a pretty good beer. Drink it quickly before the boar gets to you.
This label is hilarious. This label was the deciding factor for me when I wanted to grab a 6-back that I've never had before. It is a great description of drinking, and life in general. The man, beer in hand, trying to sneak some food (just looking at the fake pie makes me hungry). The woman, rolling pin in hand, getting pissed off at the man for his antics. I love it.
This is a great label for 2 reasons:
1. It just plain looks cool. I love Magic Hat and always buy anything that I haven't tried, but I bought this beer because of the label.
2. It makes you drink fast. Try drinking this out of the bottle. I didn't want the guy in the sky judging me any more than he already was, so I was downing these in 5 minutes or less. Eventually I had to pour them into a glass to slow down.
