What you should know: This beer is available at McKenzie's Brew House locations in the Philadelphia area. They have a good selection of other beers as well that are worth trying.

Cons: You can only get this at McKenzie's.

Recommendations: If you are ever around one of these brew houses, go inside and grab yourself a sampler (chug the light one first to get it out of the way), then top it off with a full pint of this delicious beer.

Description: 'gansett really steps up their game when it comes to seasonals, and their summer ale may be the best of the bunch. This refreshing blonde ale goes down smooth and quenches your summer thirst.  

What You Should Know: As much of a New England classic as 'gansett lager is, its just not very good. That being said, I was not expecting much when I cracked into this fella' and I was happily surprised. You can drink a lot of these.

Recommendations: If you are like me, and ruled 'gansett out because their lager may or may not taste like week old horse urine, give this beer a chance. Its actually very good and affordable for even the most frugal of slovakians.
