If Josh is going to do a top-10, I might as well throw mine on here also, and I expect quite a few repeats, but I'm getting to this one first.

Part of the reason why this is so high on my list is that it is widely available at bars. If you order one of these, the bartender immediately knows that you are a lover of good beer. It has some of the best flavors that hops can provide, and it isn't too bitter either. It is a perfect gateway beer into the world of IPA's.

As the year comes to a close I thought I would share my top 10 favorite beers. Standing tall at number 10 is Keegan Ales Mothers Milk. 

The only thing keeping this from being higher on my list is its drink-ability. As expected from a stout, its on the heavier side. That being said, this fella is also unbelievably delicious. It takes the standard stout flavors, like coffee and cocoa, to the next level. The head is gorgeous, the body is full, and the texture is sensual. 

Keegan Ales broke onto my radar with this little bit of heaven and has quickly become one of my favorite breweries with brews such as Old Capital and Joe Mama's Milk. I'm definitely looking forward to them adding to their already impressive list of offerings....just as long as its not a shandy.
