Traded some Tree House for some Other Half this week, and got to enjoy some of them with Josh. The best of the bunch: Other Half Deep Orbit Cosmos Redshift
Description: This is described as a fluffernutter, but it really missed the mark. Instead, it landed on liquid Reese's cup. I am not complaining. Ultra decadent, so you'll definitely want to split the bottle. Try to drink the whole thing and you'll be overwhelmed by the sweetness (not to mention the 16% ABV).
What you should know: We were going strong until this beer put Josh to sleep.
Recommendations: It's only Tuesday. Have some mid-week beers this week.

I went to Tree House. Needless to say it's been a good week. The best: Tree House Curiosity One Hundred Nine
Description: Tons of different fruit flavors flying at you when you drink this, making it hard to pinpoint any specific ones, but extremely delicious. It's a little sweet going down with a slightly dry finish that makes you want to grab it again for another sip. I drank 8.4% ABV pint in like 10 minutes, so things went well.
What you should know: I actually had a bad beer from Tree House in this batch. Even the greats have off days.
Recommendations: Go for a personal favorite this weekend. Whether it's a favorite beer, or a new beer from a favorite brewery, get something you know you're going to like.

I picked up my drinking pace in the last week, and had 4 '6 shyoh' beers to choose from for this. The best: Skygazer Watercolors Replay: Lemon, Raspberry, Blueberry, Vanilla, Milk Sugar
Description: The texture and flavor of this beer both scream fruit smoothie. Equal parts tart and sweet while being incredibly fruity.
What you should know: This was my first beer from this brewery; obviously, I will be back. Also, in the course of adding this beer on this site, I had to constantly remind myself that 'k' is before 'l' in the alphabet. Not my best day.
Recommendations: If you see a beer from a brewery you haven't heard of, try it.

Beer of the Week: Definitive Dazzle

I haven't been drinking a ton of beers lately, but I'm still finding great ones (though I actually had a couple horrible beers this week). The best: Definitive (and Aslin) Dazzle
Description: This is a milkshake IPA, and it definitely hit that. Tastes like an orange creamsicle with a hint of cherry. It doesn't overwhelm you with flavor, but it's damn good.
What you should know: Both these breweries are great and are expanding distribution, which is great news for beer drinkers everywhere.
Recommendations: If you haven't had a milkshake IPA yet, give it a try. They're not for everyone, but they're definitely unique.

I haven't had more than 1 of a beer in months - great variety. The best this week is my first from this brewery: Hudson Valley Oatmeal Silhouette: Blueberry
Description: The sour IPA portion of this sounds like it'd be weird with the oats, blueberry, and maple, but it works. Starts tart with lots of carbonation and finishes like a blueberry pancake.
What you should know: This brewery came highly recommended, and it didn't disappoint. Looking forward to the other one I got from them.
Recommendations: Find yourself something light and refreshing this weekend. Pretend it's warm.
