Was inspired by a late night Instagram post, and got myself some Trillium this week. No surprise that the best beer of the week is from them: Trillium Headroom
Description: Unbelievable. Papaya, peach, and orange come through the most for me. It's creamy, but not too much (as is my one complaint about many of Trillium's IPA's), and it has a peppery/earthy finish that gives it real depth.
What you should know: Trillium does a special release of this every year, and it's incredibly popular. For good reason, as it might be my favorite IPA now. I really need to get a side-by-side with some Tree House offerings.
Recommendations: If you're in the area, make your way to one of Trillium's open locations to get some of this. If you're not, find your way to Boston for headroom day next year.
