New batch of beers, and I've been quite happy so far, but the best one I had was actually from the previous batch (and I can't imagine any from this batch being better): The Rare Barrel Soakin' Up Rays.
Description: Unreal. Starts pretty darn sour, but a high carbonation level makes that dissipate quickly. The passion fruit and guava kick in hard at the end, making it almost like juice at that point.
What you should know: I've had a couple beers from Rare Barrel recently. Everything I've had has been excellent, albeit fairly expensive. This one was really over the top though, far exceeding anything else I've had.
Recommendations: If you come across beers from this brewery, don't be scared off by the price; they're worth it.
