Not a ton of new ones this week, but I did have a standout: Common Roots Super Ultra Modern American
Description: Just a damn good IPA with one small twist. Normally great IPA's start super citrusy and finish with a hint of spicy or earthy. This one is the opposite. Spicy going down and a blast of citrus in the finish. Same general flavors but a unique drinking experience.
What you should know: Although this beer was incredible, I am fairly certain I enjoyed my bacon cheddar burger a tiny bit more.
Recommendations: Some of the flavors in this beer are pretty subtle, so although you may enjoy the experience more with food, you'll appreciate the beer more if you drink it on its own, or at least with some mild food like pretzels or chips.
