Sam Adams Boston Lager Lager - 4.9% ABV Pete This is a beer-lover's beer. It is smooth and has a mildly hoppy flavor that stays with you after drinking it. I wish I could compare this out of a regular glass and out of their scientifically designed specialty glasses, but I don't have one. My only criticism of this beer is that it can lead to unwanted gas.

Sam Adams Cherry Wheat Fruit Beer - 5.3% ABV Pete You don't so much know that it is a cherry flavor unless you're told, but you can definitely taste the fruitiness. That being said, the dominant taste is beer. Too many fruit beers taste like soda or juice, but this one has the perfect balance.

Sam Adams Chocolate Bock Bock - 5.8% ABV Pete This beer tastes a lot like it sounds going down, but it leaves you with an overly aggressive hoppy aftertaste. Very tasty and smooth, it would be one of the best beers I've ever had if not for that bitterness.

Sam Adams Coastal Wheat Fruit Beer - 5.3% ABV Pete This beer is kind of between styles, as it has characteristics of both Belgian white's and fruit beers. It is very smooth, an easy drinker for everyone. It doesn't blow you away with flavor, but it certainly isn't dull.

Sam Adams Cold Snap Belgian Witbier - 5.3% ABV Pete This one isn't my favorite. I usually like this style, but this one was oddly sweet, and I didn't like that.

Sam Adams Crystal Pale Ale Pale Ale - 5.3% ABV Pete This is a pretty mild pale ale. It's very solid, everyone should like it, and you could drink a ton of these. I imagine the ideal place for this beer as an outdoor BBQ with an ice cold cooler, but everyone at the BBQ is 21-25 and wants to drink at least 10 beers each.

Sam Adams Cream Stout Stout - 4.9% ABV Pete This is a very good beer. Smooth stout flavor, with a little hint of creaminess.

Sam Adams Dark Depths Black IPA - 7.6% ABV Pete At 7.6% ABV and with the defining flavor of dark maltiness, this beer would be better served by calling itself an Imperial Stout. It is outstanding, but putting it in an IPA variety pack is a bit confusing.
