Boston, MA (We've had too many of these. See pages 2, 3, 4, and 5). Pete - The brewery has a large beer hall. I've been here a bunch of times, either Saturday afternoon or a weekend evening. The bar has beer and pretzels (including Clown Shoes). They offer flights, but you can't build your own flight (though they typically have one of just the pilot beers). They have a variety of pretzels and sauces that are awesome. They also offer tours for $5, which is a great deal as there is a 20-30 minute tasting session as part of it. I've always had a great experience here, except for the possible long waits. Also, they host a few major events that include ticketed entry near their brewery. They're massively packed and it's a very young crowd.
City Roots Roof-Deck Rosé Cider - 4.8% ABV Pete Pretty sweet cider with a little floral flavor to it also.

Harpoon Ales for ALS IPA - 6.24% ABV Pete Not a very good IPA, something off about it, but hey, it's for a good cause.

Harpoon American IPA American IPA - 7.2% ABV Pete This is like Lagunitas with a slightly dank edge. Works for me. A lot.

Harpoon American Pale Ale Pale Ale - 6.45% ABV Pete The only pale one in the picture. Citrusy to an extreme, almost fruity, and extremely easy to drink. Great beer.

Harpoon Bacon Truck Beer Amber Lager - 7.5% ABV Pete This is oddly chocolatey, and also quite boozy, but it isn't very heavy. I wouldn't recommend this one to anyone, despite the name.

Harpoon Barking Crab White Ale Belgian Witbier - ?% ABV Pete This beer just isn't all that good. Sure it's cool because this is a famous restaurant and it's right near Harpoon, but it's just not worth getting.

Harpoon Barrel Aged Cannoli Stout Stout - 7.4% ABV Pete Name sounds better than the taste, but still a solid roasty stout. Not very rich at all.

Harpoon Belgian Pale Ale Pale Ale - 5.8% ABV Pete This beer is very hard to describe. The best I can do is to say that the prevailing flavor is the hops, but not in a bitter way. You notice a bit of fruitiness as well. The flavor stays with you for awhile, but you probably won't notice that, since you won't put it down for long enough. It also packs a decent punch. This is a perfect combination of a die-hard beer drinker's beer and a wheat beer. Well done.

Harpoon Big Ditch Rivalry Pale Ale - 4.7% ABV Pete Pictured 2nd from the bottom. Good beer with a hint of sweetness and a hint of hops. Not a ton of flavor, but extremely crushable.

Harpoon Big League IPA - 7.5% ABV Pete A little bitter, a little citrusy. Solid, but doesn't blow you away.
Harpoon Boston Irish Stout Stout - 4.3% ABV Pete This is a below average stout. It's possible that it wasn't poured right at the bar I was at, but I probably won't give it a second chance. There are too many better options out there.

Harpoon Bubble Farm IPA - 6.7% ABV Pete Pictured in front. It tastes a little peanut buttery going down (odd, I know, but it does), and finishes with basically no aftertaste. It's decent, but doesn't taste much like an IPA.

Harpoon Camp Wannamango Pale Ale - 5% ABV Pete This is a very good beer. You taste a lot of mango going down, but it finishes clean and crisp. This will be great in the summer.

Harpoon Celtic Ale Red Ale - 5.4% ABV Pete There is nothing wrong with this beer, I just don't like the style.

Harpoon Chocolate Stout Stout - 5.9% ABV Pete This is a great beer. It is extremely chocolatey, but somehow does not overpower you with sweetness. It is nice and creamy going down, just real satisfying.

Harpoon Citra Sea IPA - 5.8% ABV Pete The grapefruit peel flavor really comes out in this beer. It's pretty delicious and easy to drink. If you don't like grapefruit, skip this one.

Harpoon 100 Barrel Series #50: Citra Victorious Pale Ale - 5.8% ABV Pete This is an outstanding pale ale. It's just a clean crisp beer. It tastes on the verge of IPA, the added grapefruit giving it a bit extra non-hop bitterness.

Harpoon Coffee Pale Ale Pale Ale - 5.73% ABV Pete Super drinkable beer that tastes like coffee. Big fan.
