Lone Pine Brewing Company

Portland, ME
Pete - Went here on a Thursday afternoon in summer. They had a food truck outside, and are right next to Goodfire. They offer flights, which are pretty cool looking - you'll see below. Like everything in Portland, everything is pretty cheap. They also offer beers to go. Pretty small taproom with a little outdoor area, and they have a larger beer garden that has a slightly more limited selection, but is a much bigger outdoor space.

Lone Pine Blueberry Sparkler
Sour - 4.8% ABV

Damn good beer. Light, very tart, and a little fruity. I wouldn't necessarily know it's blueberry, but still damn good.

Very zesty IPA with a very creamy texture. Great beer.

Lone Pine Chaos Emeralds
Impeial New England IPA - 8% ABV

Smell is ultra citrusy, just what I was expecting. The beer is super soft and creamy with a melony flavor. Really good.

Lone Pine Cinnamon Toastie
Imperial Stout - 8% ABV
Pete
I love this. Light body, especially for a stout. Nicely spiced with the cinnamon and a hint of bitterness. Maybe a tiny bit of vanilla also.

Lone Pine Crush Puppie: Lemon Lime Puppy Love
Session IPA - 4.2% ABV

I was expecting this to be much fruitier. It's actually pretty dank. Extremely light-bodied, easy to drink, not a ton of flavor.

Lone Pine Diamond Unicorn
Imperial New England IPA - 7.8% ABV

Super juicy, maybe a touch of lemon, IPA that's creamy going down and finishes pretty dry. Really really good.

Delicious. Super creamy with tons of fruity flavor, dominated by mango.

Lone Pine Grapefruit Tessellation

Starts like a citrus IPA. Finishes like you just ate a grapefruit.

Lone Pine Holy Donut Fresh Lemon Glaze
Sour - 7.5% ABV

This tastes like a lemon square that leans more tart than sweet. If that sounds good to you, you'll love this like I did.

Lone Pine Neon Balloon Dog
New England IPA - 6% ABV

Super tropical and creamy IPA. I tasted coconut too, which isn't my favorite, although it's not described that way. Still solid.

Lone Pine Oh-J
Imperial IPA - 8.1% ABV

Would it surprise you to hear that this tastes like juice? And there's no actual fruit in it. Light body makes it pretty easy to drink despite its ABV. Incredible.

Lone Pine Portland Pale Ale
American Pale Ale - 5.2% ABV

Pictured on the left. Super dank, maybe even a little too much (that's saying a lot coming from me). Even so, it's quite smooth and super drinkable. Nice day-time beer.

Lone Pine Quantum Cuddle Kitten
Imperial New England IPA - 7.8% ABV

Very tasty. Lots of citrus and a little bit of creaminess. I couldn't pinpoint specific flavors in the citrus, just lots of stuff going on.

Lone Pine Raspberry Sparkler
Sour - 4.8% ABV
Pete
Pictured 2nd from the right (the one that looks like it has raspberry in it). It's a touch sour with a hint of raspberry, and ultra-carbonated. Almost more like drinking raspberry soda. Quite delicious.

Lone Pine Shore Leave
Dark Gose - 3.8% ABV
Pete
Pictured 2nd from the left. Smells straight up like a stout, and tastes nothing like that. Slightly salty, delicious sour. Maybe a tiny, tiny hint of maltiness, but you really need to search for it.

Lone Pine Space Metal Dinosaur
Imperial New England IPA - 7.8% ABV

This didn't come off as a NEIPA to me. A decent amount of bitterness, and a good amount of maltiness. It's a solid balanced IPA (leaning a bit towards too malty), but definitely not a NEIPA.

Lone Pine T-Shirt Cannon
Imperial IPA - 7.7% ABV
Pete
Smells like it's going to be super super creamy. It's a bit more mellow on the creaminess, as the flavor is dominated by piney-ness, almost grassy, with a touch of peppery in the finish. Love it.

Somehow this manages to be pretty bitter but still quite smooth and easy to drink. Subtle citrus background and a light body really trick you into drinking this bad boy quickly.
