KCBC All Together
New England IPA - 6.5% ABV
Pete
This is my first of this series, which is a worldwide collaboration to help support hospitality workers during the COVID-19 pandemic and related shutdowns. Not just a good cause, but an unreal beer. Citrus bomb with a light body that somehow still leaves you with a creamy aftertaste.

KCBC Dangerous Precedent
New England IPA - 6.6% ABV
Pete
Big time juice bomb with a ton of haze/creaminess to it. Lots of different citrus flavors going on, and the flavor is pretty amped up, more so than you'd expect for a single IPA.

KCBC Friends & Anemones
Imperial New England IPA - 8% ABV

Collaboration with Vitamin Sea. Smells like a juicy bomb. Citrus is definitely there, though it's more zesty than it is fruity. Super drinkable too. Dangerously delicious.

KCBC Hyper Typer
Sour - 7% ABV
Pete
Unreal. Quite tart with loads of fruit flavor without being sweet - nice dry finish.

KCBC Indiana Bones Raiders of the Lost Bark
New England IPA - 7.2% ABV
Pete
Lots of fruit with peach up front and a tiny bit of bitterness in the finish. The bitterness gives it a little extra depth, which is quite nice.

KCBC Jingle Zombie Apocalypse
Sour - 6% ABV
Pete
This was a crowd favorite at the bar. It's basically a fruit beer with a tiny bit of sourness. So much raspberry. I'm not complaining.

KCBC Light The Lightning
Imperial Stout - 9% ABV
Pete
Intense dark chocolate and coffee flavors. It's definitely not a light beer, but it's not terribly heavy either. It's delicious going down, and leaves an aftertaste of chocolate that really needed to be just a touch sweeter.

KCBC Marble of Doom II
Sour - 5% ABV
Pete
Really good raspberry flavor. It's tart as if you're eating raspberries. It has a hint of a medicinal flavor, which brings it down a bit, but it's still a great beer.

Picture
KCBC Marble of Doom IV
Sour - 5.5% ABV
Pete
A little fruity and a tiny hint of salt. It's really not sour at all, which I was hoping for. More of a mellow fruit beer.

KCBC Noodle Ninjas
Imperial New England IPA - 8% ABV
Pete
Collaboration with Dancing Gnome. Anytime you drink a beer and think "that tastes like Tree House", that's a very good sign. This one tastes particularly somewhere in between Julius and King Julius. Need to get me some more KCBC. Sweet can too.

KCBC Reservoir Frogs
Imperial New England IPA - 8% ABV
Pete
Super juicy and tropical going down, with a hint of dryness in the finish, probably from the rye. I was on the fence between a 5 and a 6 here, but the sweet can puts it over the top.

KCBC Robot Fish #4
New England IPA - 6.1% ABV
Pete
This is a special beer for Ginger Man in Manhattan. Super creamy and citrusy, with peach prevailing as the dominant flavor. Excellent. Probably the best single bar-special beer I've ever had.

KCBC Robot Fish: Mosaic Smash
New England IPA - 6.6% ABV
Pete
Earthy and creamy with a tiny bit of peppery-ness in the finish. Really good.

KCBC Robot Fish: Nelson Smash
New England IPA - 6.6% ABV
Pete
This is my kind of beer. Very dank, a little bit of citrus, and a tiny hint of bitterness.

KCBC Robot Fish: Simcoe Smash
New England IPA - 6.6% ABV
Pete
Super drinkable and citrusy with lemon at the front. There's a hint of dank in the finish too. Excellent beer.

KCBC Rye Barrel Aged Creature From The Deep
Imperial Milk Stout - 11% ABV
Pete
Lots of rye with some rich chocolate. Tastes like a cocktail - very boozy. I'm quite OK with that.

KCBC Superhero Sidekicks
New England IPA - 6.9% ABV

Taste and texture is overripe melon. I love that. My friends at the bar did not.

KCBC This is Your Brain on Hops: Mosaic + Nelson
Imperial IPA - 8.5% ABV
Pete
I honestly didn't get much citrus/fruit flavor from this, like it's described. Mostly just bitterness and a little sweet/boozy. Much better with food than during food prep.

KCBC This is Your Brain on Hops: Mosaic + Simcoe
Imperial IPA - 8.5% ABV

Resinous with sweet citrus, mainly pineapple for me. It's right on the edge of too sweet for an IPA, but I like it a lot.

KCBC Viking Hula
New England IPA - 7.2% ABV
Pete
Collaboration with Green Point (haven't had any of those as of 5/7/20). Excellent beer. Super tropical, lots of citrus, and maybe even a hint of coconut in there to really drive home the tropical sense.

Ratings: Pete - 6 Shyoh's

KCBC What We Don't See
Imperial Stout - 9% ABV
Pete
Ultra dark, but not incredibly rich. Molasses and coffee dominate, and some charred flavors in there too. On the bitter side for a stout.

KCBC Yacht Zombie Apocalypse
Sour - 6% ABV
Pete
Absolutely love this. Tons of fruitiness, but only a little sweet, with some tartness in the finish to balance it. Toeing the line between fruit beer and a sour.
