Tommyknocker Brewery & Pub

Idaho Springs, CO

Picture
Tommyknocker Cocoa Porter
Porter - 5.7% ABV
Pete
This has some good flavor, but I wanted more. I also wanted it to be heavier.

Ratings: Pete - 4 Shyoh's

Tommyknocker Jack Whacker Wheat Ale
Wheat Beer - 4.7% ABV
Pete
This beer has pretty much no flavor. Nothing bad about it, but nothing stands out.

Ratings: Pete - 3 Shyoh's

Tommyknocker Maple Nut Brown
Brown Ale - 4.5% ABV

This is kind of bland going down, and I expected more of an aftertaste when I first put it down. Then it hit me well after I'm used to for an aftertaste. Some good sweetness, but really just not enough flavor to set it apart. I think I only want Vermont/New Hampshire beers with "real maple syrup".

Ratings: Pete - 4 Shyoh's

Tommyknocker Pick Axe IPA
IPA - 6.2% ABV

This is a really good IPA. It has some floral taste to it, but not too much bitterness.

Ratings: Pete - 5 Shyoh's
