The Bruery

Placentia, CA

The Bruery Bakery: Oatmeal Raisin Cookie
Imperial Stout - 8.3% ABV

I was afraid this was going to be too sweet based on the name, but it wasn't. Heavy vanilla and cinnamon. Maybe a little too much vanilla, but still pretty good.

Ratings: Pete - 4 Shyoh's

The Bruery Black Tuesday Reserve 2018
Imperial Stout - 21% ABV

This is a big boy, and it did not disappoint. It just tastes like chocolate-flavored bourbon. No objections here.

Ratings: Pete - 6 Shyoh's

Belgian Pale Ale - 4.9% ABV

Pretty drinkable, but also pretty forgettable. If you're not paying attention (like me), you will drink the whole thing and not remember what it tastes like.

Ratings: Pete - 4 Shyoh's

Belgian Strong Golden Ale - 8.5% ABV

Awesome. Super Belgian, kind of fruity, kind of hoppy. Great beer.

Ratings: Pete - 5 Shyoh's

The Bruery Or Xata
Blonde Ale - 7.2% ABV

Very malty and very vanilla. Unfortunately, I don't get any cinnamon, which is kind of essential to the 'horchata' flavor. Still an interesting beer.

The Bruery Terreux Frucht: Passion Fruit
Berliner Weisse - 4.3% ABV

Smells super fruity and you get that at the beginning, then it finishes with bracing sour. Unreal.

Ratings: Pete - 6 Shyoh's

The Bruery Terreux Goses Are Red 2021
Gose - 5.6% ABV

Great beer. The tartness and fruitiness are pretty equal going down, with the fruitiness fading when you put it down and the tartness sticking with you.

Ratings: Pete - 5 Shyoh's
