Smuttynose Rocky Road
Stout - 7.1% ABV

Extremely rich, delicious beer that definitely tastes like dark chocolate.

Smuttynose Shoal's Pale Ale
Pale Ale - 5.4% ABV
Pete
This is a pretty good pale ale. Nothing really jumps out at me, and it is a little more bitter than I was expecting, but it is still pretty good.

Ratings: Pete - 4 Shyoh's

Smuttynose Smistletoe
Saison - 8.5% ABV
Pete
This beer is a bit different from your standard saison/farmhouse ale. It has some fruity flavor, which is different than most other beers, but I found that it really didn't work. It tasted a bit yeasty also.

Ratings: Pete - 3 Shyoh's

Smuttynose Smoked Peach Short Weisse (Smuttlabs)
Smoked Sour - 6.7% ABV
Pete
Smokey, sweet, sour, and fruity. They all work together, and it's a lot going on. Your taste buds will be happy but confused.

Ratings: Pete - 5 Shyoh's

Smuttynose Star Island Single
Belgian Pale Ale - 4.7% ABV
Pete
This beer has a light lemon flavor, with a hint of some other spices, but not enough to put it over the edge.

Ratings: Pete - 4 Shyoh's

Smuttynose Summer Weizen Ale
Hefeweizen - 5.5% ABV
Pete
Not much to say here. Fairly generic hefeweizen that lacks any real standout flavor.

Ratings: Pete - 3 Shyoh's

Smuttynose Vunderbar
German Pilsner - 5.1% ABV
Pete
You hear the name of the beer and look at the label, and you have to think German Pils, so it better taste like it. Great success. It reminds me of 3 of my favorite imports: Beck's, Heineken, and especially St. Pauli Girl. Not a bad one among them. This is the first American beer I've had that tastes like the popular imports. And they are popular for a reason.

Ratings: Pete - 6 Shyoh's

Smuttynose Winter Ale
Winter Ale - 5.83% ABV
Pete
This is a pretty good winter beer with a nice mellow sweetness to it.
