Second Wind Brewing Company

Plymouth, MA

Second Wind Abundance of Cushions
Imperial New England IPA - 8.2% ABV
Pete
Unreal beer. Super juicy with a relatively light body, with pineapple as the dominant flavor without being too sweet.

Ratings: Pete - 6 Shyoh's

Second Wind Aloha
Imperial Milkshake IPA - 8% ABV
Pete
Fruity and very, very creamy, although it doesn't necessarily look it. The creaminess overwhelms the fruity flavors a bit, but they still come out enough to make this a very good beer.

Ratings: Pete - 5 Shyoh's

Second Wind C.R.E.A.M. Vol. 2
Imperial New England IPA - 8.9% ABV
Pete
Awesome beer with a lot going on. The smell is incredibly citrusy, and the flavor matches, with lemon as the dominant citrus flavor and a bit of peppery-ness that really rounds it out.

Ratings: Pete - 6 Shyoh's

Second Wind S'mores Blackout
Stout - 7.6% ABV

Intensely roasty beer. It has all the flavors of a s'more if the mallow was left on the fire a tiny bit longer than normal. I love that roasted, almost smokey, flavor, but not everyone will.

Ratings: Pete - 6 Shyoh's

Second Wind Sour Pleasure: Strawberry Kiwi Banana
Sour - 8% ABV

Really tasty. All 3 fruits come through. Every few sips you might get a little taken aback as banana is dominant and sour banana is a little weird, but somehow it works.

New England IPA - 6.5% ABV

Very tasty beer. It's super carbonated (which I did not expect) and pretty citrusy. Paired nicely with tacos (better with fish than chorizo).
