Saint Archer Brewing Company

San Diego, CA
Pete - I went to the Leucadia taproom on a Monday afternoon, right as they opened. It's a cool place that's got very San Diego-y vibes. Surfing was on TV. They have full pours of a wide range of styles, as well as small pours, and cans to go.

I got this despite the ABV because I love the style and wanted to prove to myself that I wasn't too hungover to drink a beer fast. It worked. This is just liquid raspberries. Basically the exact tartness you'd expect if you just pressed raspberries into juice and added carbonation.

This was exactly what I needed to start my Monday after a pretty rough Sunday night. Super refreshing and eases you into drinking. Not a ton of fruity flavor, but enough.

I ordered this after a shandy and the raspberry berliner as I felt I was ready for some actual drinking. I was right. This is extremely boozy, but extremely delicious. Super rich, bourbon vanilla coffee flavor. There may be a little fruitiness in the background, but I didn't taste raspberry specifically.
