Real Ale Brewing Company

Blanco, TX

Real Ale Axis IPA
IPA - 7.1% ABV

Really good IPA. Citrusy as dominant flavor, leaning more towards standard citrus, but it has some tropical flavors in there. Also a little grassy-ness to it.

Ratings: Pete - 5 Shyoh's

Real Ale Brewhouse Brown
Brown Ale - 5.4% ABV

Really, really sweet, to a fault, but just enough nuttiness to keep me coming back. A full pint might have been too much (let alone the 22oz monsters this place served).

Ratings: Pete - 4 Shyoh's

Pretty solid beer. The only problem is that it's strong and that's noticeable when drinking it. I'd rather find out later.

The 2nd from the right in the pic (labeled as the brown, but I had already had it, so I switched it up). It's what you might expect for something of this style. It's fine, pretty easy to drink, not a ton of flavor.
