Burlington, VT Pete - I visited Queen City on a Saturday afternoon. It had a very neighborhood/local feel, which I didn't get at any of the other Burlington breweries. It seemed that most people at the bar knew each other and came in all the time, but they were certainly friendly to an outsider. They serve their beers on tap, and they have flights ($8 for 4 when I was there). They have some bar snacks (soft pretzels), but they also let you bring in food. Their beers are a wide range of European styles. They also sell beer to-go.
Queen City Franconian Smoked Lager - 5.5% ABV Pete I don't think there are enough smoked beers out there. This one is exactly what I wanted, just a ton of smoke, not a lot else to distract from it. If you like smoky, get this. Pictured on the left.
Ratings: Pete - 5 Shyoh's
Queen City Monk of Underhill Tripel - 9.3% ABV Pete This tripel is too sweet for me. I'm not sure what's off about it (probably the same issue I had with the dunkel), but the sweetness that's typically there in this style (and I love) just didn't work for me. Pictured on the right.

Queen City Munich Dunkel Dark Lager - 5.5% ABV Pete I usually like dunkels, but this one wasn't my favorite. The sweetness in it really just wasn't all that good. Pictured 2nd from the left.

Queen City Yorkshire Porter Porter - 5% ABV Pete Solid porter. Not too thick, easy to drink, with some nice roasty flavor. I wanted more flavor, but what's there is tasty. Pictured 2nd from the right.
