North Park Brewing Company

San Diego, CA
Pete - I went here on Tuesday afternoon around 230pmm and have been back numerous times since, including different locations. Their beers are incredible, and they have a pretty large taproom. They also have a bunch of guest brewery beers. Excellent experience, and there's a bunch of other breweries nearby

North Park Chopped Greens
Imperial New England IPA - 8.5% ABV
Pete
Collaboration with Slice. Pictured on the right. It's dank and pretty darn boozy. Still very good despite the booze.

Ratings: Pete - 4 Shyoh's

North Park Cloud Cartography
Imperial New England IPA - 8.4% ABV
Pete
Creamy with a good amount of lime flavor. Just really well done. Excellent beer.

North Park Crispy-Fu!
Pilsner - 5.6% ABV
Pete
Pictured on the right. Extremely dry and grassy; it might as well be an IPA, not a pils. It does have the crisp, easy to drink-ness of a pils too, so this is an excellent beer.

North Park Dank is Hard
Imperial New England IPA - 8.5% ABV

North Park Extra Turns
Imperial New England IPA - 8.5% ABV
Pete
Pictured on the left, not that the 2 beers in the photo look any different. Extremely creamy texture, with a zesty lime flavor. Together, that makes a lime creamsicle. Excellent.

North Park Free Stylin' 25
Imperial New England IPA - 8.5% ABV
Pete
Creamy and loads of papaya flavor. Not sure I'd say it went well with the burger, fries, and chicken fingers, but it's incredible on its own.

Collaboration with Homes (haven't had any of those as of 10/12/23). This is a dank, earthy, bitter IPA. Damn good.

North Park In the Beginning
New England IPA - 7% ABV
Pete
Excellent beer. Dry, peachy, and grape-y, which is not a flavor that usually comes through in IPA's.

North Park Just Claggin' Around
Imperial New England IPA - 10% ABV
Pete
Incredible beer. Big time citrus bomb. Not sweet either.

North Park Keen On Peacharine
Imperial New England IPA - 8.5% ABV
Pete
Really, really good. Light body which was a bit surprising given the color/apparent thickness. Stone fruit flavors and finishes super dry. Some sips border on too sweet but definitely did not go over the line.

North Park Lil-Fu!
IPA - 6% ABV

Picture
North Park Raspberry Lime Fizz
Sour - 7% ABV

While this beer had some trouble staying in the can post opening, it was really delicious. Very thick body and quite tart.

Picture
North Park Sleepiest Machines
Imperial New England IPA - 10% ABV
Pete
One of the best triple IPA's I've ever had. Super citrusy as expected, but doesn't have the aggressive sweetness you normally get from the style. Finishes balanced leaning towards dry.

Ratings: Pete - 6 Shyoh's

Picture
North Park Smiley Eyes
West Coast IPA - 7.5% ABV
Pete
Collaboration with everywhere. Not bitter, a little floral, just a little plain. This would be dangerous on the golf course with this crushability and ABV combo.

Picture
North Park So Hot Right Now
Cold IPA - 7% ABV
Pete
This was my first cold IPA, and it's basically exactly what I expected. A little bitter and hoppy, but also super light, clean, and drinkable.

Picture
North Park Squandering Citra
Imperial New England IPA - 12% ABV
Pete
12% is a big ole IPA. Shockingly, this isn't overly sweet. Creamy citrus is all I get. Really dangerous.

North Park Vastnessness
Imperial New England IPA - 8.5% ABV
Pete
Really dank, and zesty too. It's an excellent beer, bordering on the edge of too dank for me, which is saying something because I like that.

Ratings: Pete - 6 Shyoh's

Picture
The Dank Vault
Imperial New England IPA - 12% ABV
Pete
Excellent beer, especially impressive for how strong it is. It's more zesty than dank, with maybe a hint of booze in it. I definitely wouldn't have noticed the booze if I didn't know it was so strong.

Picture
North Park Velvet Phenix

Pete
Marshmallow and dark chocolate. Not super sweet either. Damn good.

Picture
North Park Wading in the Tides
Imperial New England IPA - 10% ABV
Pete
Collaboration with Two Tides (haven't had any of those as of 8/2/23). Wow. Super citrusy and creamy. It's not too sweet like most IPA's of this ABV tend to be. Instead, this is just like a lime creamsicle.
