Monkish Brewing Company

Torrance, CA

Picture
Monkish Bloom & Blossom
Imperial New England IPA - 8.8% ABV
Pete
Pictured in front. Obvious NEIPA at first. Tons of citrus and fairly creamy, but not crazy. Stands out with a slightly piney finish. Super dangerouns at 8.8.

Super juicy with a very light body. Incredibly drinkable.

Ratings: Pete - 5 Shyoh's

Monkish Flip Fly Flows
Imperial New England IPA - 8.6% ABV
Pete
Super citrusy and super easy to drink. A tiny bit of creaminess, but not too much. Super hazy. Dangerously easy to drink at this ABV.

Monkish Going Timeless
Imperial New England IPA - 8.1% ABV

My drunk notes were "creamy, citrusy, and wonderful". Hard to argue that.

Monkish Hang My Boots
Imperial New England IPA - 10.3% ABV

Unreal beer. Super creamy and zesty, and isn't sweet like most IPA's this strong.

Monkish Luxury and Leisure
Imperial New England IPA - 10.5% ABV
Pete
Monkish really nails the triple NEIPA style. Most other breweries make them too sweet. This is just creamy and zesty/peppery. Awesome.

Monkish Riri Waka
Pale Ale - 6.2% ABV
Pete
Super peppery aroma and initial flavor. Finishes a bit citrusy, and creamy from the oats. If you like a spiciness from your hops, apparently you might want to dabble in the Riwaka hop used here. Awesome.
