Magnify Brewing Company

Fairfield, NJ. This brewery is in an industrial park, and I was staying about a mile away for a wedding, so I went there on a Saturday afternoon for a few beers. Small taproom area with some bar seating and a few tables. They don't have flights, but they offer 8 oz pours. They'll have maybe 10 beers on tap, so plenty to try, and you can get growlers (and maybe cans/bottles, not sure) to go.

Magnify Double Barrel Aged Point of Divergence
Imperial Stout - 10.5% ABV
Pete
Deep dark stout, with some extra subtle fruity, boozy qualities from being aged in red wine and brandy barrels. Outstanding.

Rating: Pete - 5 Shyoh's

Magnify Double Coffee It's Dam Cool
Porter - 7% ABV

Pictured on the left. Extremely potent smell of coffee and cardamom. It definitely has a ton of coffee flavor, but it's a little mellow compared to the aroma. Still a great beer.

Magnify Dunk Contest
Imperial New England IPA - 8% ABV

I generally love mosaic hops. Apparently cryo mosaic hops are just too much unfortunately. This is extremely dank - too much even for me.

Magnify House Rules
IPA - 5.8% ABV

Like the name, like the look, hate the smell, hate the taste. I honestly tasted like this beer had gone bad. I trust the store I got it from, so I think either this is just a bad batch, or it's just a really bad beer.

Magnify Hype Train (Mangoes & Passionfruit)
Imperial IPA - 10.5% ABV
Pete
Incredible IPA. Extremely fruity going down and extremely hoppy in the finish. I'm impressed that it's that strong, it sure doesn't taste it.

Magnify Imagine the Summit
Imperial IPA - 8.5% ABV
Pete
This is a great creamy citrusy IPA, but it's outrageously expensive. Like, 1.5x more than others of the same style. Not worth it.

Magnify Juice Bar
IPA - 8.2% ABV
Pete
Great name. Tastes like juice but still somehow beer-y. Probably because it was conditioned on kiwis, making it really tropical and delicious. Impressively light-tasting for 8.2% ABV. I can't hype this up enough. Find it.

Magnify Low Visibility
Pale Ale - 4.8% ABV
Pete
Great name to go with this delicious ultra-hazy beer. The hops give a distinct peppery-ness to this one, which I really loved. This would be an incredible day-drinking option.

Magnify Maine Event
IPA - 6.5% ABV
Pete
Pictured on the right. Great IPA. It's juicy and almost a creamy body, like a fruity milkshake with hops.

Magnify Search Saison
Saison - 5.5% ABV
Pete
Damn good saison. It's spicy but finishes like a dry wine.

Magnify The Real Juice Boys of New Jersey
Imperial New England IPA - 9.1% ABV
Pete
At little boozy and too sweet at first when it comes out of the fridge. As it warms a bit some more citrus flavors come out, mostly mango for me. Definitely don't drink this when it's ultra cold - it will be much more enjoyable that way.

Magnify Thing of Beauty
Imperial New England IPA - 8% ABV

Excellent beer. Peachy going down with a grassy finish.

Magnify Vine Shine
IPA - 6.5% ABV
Pete
Super piney IPA, almost a straw-like quality to it because it's so light. Solid beer.
