Abbaye de Leffe

Dinant, Belgium

Picture
Leffe Blonde (Blond)
Belgian Ale - 6.6% ABV
Pete
This is a very good beer-lover's beer. Strong, smooth, moderately bitter. No real distinct flavors other than mild hops, but what it has is brilliant.

Ratings: Pete - 5 Shyoh's

Leffe Brune (Brown)
Brown Ale - 6.5% ABV

This is another great one from Leffe. This one won gold at the World Beer Cup for a reason. It isn't what you'd expect from a brown ale, but it is very good. There is an underlying flavor that reminds me of the same brand's blonde ale. That is not a bad thing.

Ratings: Pete - 6 Shyoh's
