Lawson's Finest Liquids

Warren, VT

Picture
Lawson's Finest Chinooker'd
American IPA - 6.9% ABV
Pete
Excellent IPA. Really just punches you in the face with hops. Both piney and peppery, and I can't figure out which dominates.

Ratings: Pete - 5 Shyoh's

Lawson's Finest Double Sunshine
Imperial IPA - 8% ABV
Pete
Citrus and pretty dank up front, with a resinous finish that has a touch of maltiness to it. Did I hit enough buzz words with that description? The beer is outstanding, well-balanced.

Ratings: Pete - 6 Shyoh's

Lawson's Finest Fayston Maple
Imperial Stout - 10.1% ABV
Pete
Very dangerous beer. A touch of maple, a touch of bitter and a ton of roasty chocolate. Delicious.

Lawson's Finest Hopzilla
Imperial IPA - 8.7% ABV
Pete
Lives up to the name. Subtle citrus flavor and a large amount of bitterness going down, with a decent amount of maltiness in the finish.

Lawson's Finest Kiwi
Imperial IPA - 8.1% ABV
Pete
Fairly bitter but still quite drinkable. Solid old-school imperial.

Ratings: Pete - 4 Shyoh's

Lawson's Finest Little Sip
IPA - 6.2% ABV
Pete
Really tasty. The best description I can give is "light IPA".

Lawson's Finest Sip of Sunshine
Imperial IPA - 8% ABV

Pretty great IPA. A little bitter (expected for an imperial) and a hint of sweetness. Usually noticeable sweetness turns me off of an IPA, but it works well in this one.

Lawson's Finest Super Session #2
Session IPA - 4.8% ABV
Pete
Solid IPA. It's very piney, almost grassy tasting. That works.

Ratings: Pete - 4 Shyoh's

Lawson's Finest Super Session #4 Centennial
Session IPA - 4.8% ABV
Pete
Malty going down, and finishes pretty lime-y. Really nice balance, and there is a ton of flavor for a session beer.

Ratings: Pete - 5 Shyoh's

Lawson's Finest Super Session #8
Session IPA - 4.8% ABV
Pete
Ridiculously easy to drink beer. Perfect hint of citrus and slightly dry finish that makes you keep coming back for more.

Lawson's Finest The Space In Between
Other - 6.7% ABV
Pete
Purposely doesn't fit into any categories, and I like it. It's fairly mellow, making it quite easy to drink, and it has a dry, dank peppery-ness to it that really works. I'd say it's closest to a pale ale, but not really that close.

Lawson's Finest Triple Sunshine
Imperial IPA - 10.5% ABV
Pete
More like a tripel than a triple IPA. Muted citrus aroma and flavor going down. Finishes a little sweet and a touch boozy. I love tripels, so this works for me.
