Grimm 1st Anniversary
Imperial/Triple IPA - 11% ABV Pete I've managed to have 31 different beers from Grimm already, and I don't even live in the same state. The 1 year anniversary sounded fishy, and it is. They opened in 2013, but moved to an actual physical location a year ago. As for this one, it's incredibly impressive at 11%. It's a little sweet and a little boozy, which is hard to avoid at that level, but there's enough creaminess and citrus flavor to get past that. Grimm American Grimm

Grimm BFF
Tripel IPA - 9% ABV Pete I love IPA's and I love tripel's, so I had extremely high hopes for this one. I like the Belgian spiciness to it, but it is just too bitter for me. Grimm Catch Wave
New England IPA - 7.5% ABV Pete My first reaction to this was that it smells and tastes like a Tree House. Pretty good considering the average rating of the 15 IPA's I've had from there (1/31/19) is 5.6. Fruited Sour - 6% ABV Pete This is an interesting one. The base flavor is good, and there's a creaminess to it. The kaffir lime flavor is outrageously strong though. Grimm Jam Don't Shake

It's more jelly than peanut butter, but man, to make a 17% ABV beer taste like PB&J with only a small amount of booziness is really impressive (it smells much boozier than it tastes).
