Foley Brothers Brewing

Brandon, VT

Picture
Foley Brothers Blackbeard's Porter
Baltic Porter - 8% ABV
Pete
Caramel and vanilla dominate this beer. It says it's maple, but it's closer to caramel for me. Pretty light body for any beer, and especially for this style. Great beer.

Ratings: Pete - 5 Shyoh's

Foley Brothers Captain's Series: Simcoe
Pale Ale - 6.5% ABV
Pete
Really drinkable, with plenty of dank-ness from the simcoe hops.

Ratings: Pete - 5 Shyoh's

Foley Brothers Citrennial
American IPA - 6.7% ABV
Pete
Pretty tasty. It's a dry hoppy flavor that doesn't linger very long.

Ratings: Pete - 4 Shyoh's

Foley Brothers Fair Maiden IIPA
Imperial IPA - 8.2% ABV
Pete
Very bitter IPA (at least compared to all the New England's I've been drinking recently), but a good amount of citrus to balance it too.

Ratings: Pete - 4 Shyoh's

Foley Brothers Pieces of Eight
Imperial IPA - 8% ABV

A little malty and a little bitter, pretty solid IPA. I was a little turned off by the massive amount of sediment in the beer, but it's still pretty good.

Ratings: Pete - 4 Shyoh's
