Exhibit 'A' Brewing Company

Framingham, MA

Picture
Exhibit A Briefcase Porter
Porter - 5.4% ABV
Pete
Decent porter. Has some roasted qualities to it, but really just needed more flavor.

Ratings: Pete - 4 Shyoh's

Exhibit A Danko
New England IPA - 6% ABV
Pete
Damn good zesty peppery IPA. I had this when it was a little old, so it's possible it's even better fresh.

Ratings: Pete - 5 Shyoh's

Exhibit A Demo Tape DDH Double IPA w/ Nelson Sauvin Hops & Wine Grape Juice
Imperial New England IPA - 8% ABV
Pete
Super dank IPA. There's some juiciness in the background and even a little funk, but mostly just a very dank IPA.

Ratings: Pete - 4 Shyoh's

Picture
Exhibit A Demo Tape Five - American Brown Porter
Porter - 6.1% ABV
Pete
This is a really good porter. It's malty sweetness really shines. As the name indicates, this borders between a brown and a porter, so it isn't too rich to drink quickly. It's definitely worth getting.

Ratings: Pete - 5 Shyoh's

Exhibit A Demo Tape Six - Dry Hopped Kettle Sour
Sour - 4.2% ABV
Pete
This is a solid sour. It's only a little bit sour, making it very easy to drink. It doesn't have a ton of flavor, but it's enough sour to not be plain.

Ratings: Pete - 4 Shyoh's

Picture
Exhibit A Fifteen: Double Dry Hopped Double IPA
Imperial IPA - 7.7% ABV
Pete
A little citrus flavor and a ton of dank-ness with a little bit of creaminess in the texture.

Ratings: Pete - 4 Shyoh's

Picture
Exhibit A Goody Two Shoes
Kölsch - 4.5% ABV
Pete
This is a pretty plain beer. It's easy to drink, but just not enough flavor to keep me getting it.

Ratings: Pete - 3 Shyoh's

Exhibit A Hair Raiser
Imperial IPA - 8% ABV
Pete
This has great hop flavor, but is just a touch too bitter for me. It's still good, and if you like bitter, you'll probably love it. A little piney.

Ratings: Pete - 4 Shyoh's

Picture
Exhibit A Just A Kitten
New England IPA - 5% ABV
Pete
Dry and peppery IPA. Not a crazy amount of flavor but definitely a good amount considering the low ABV. Crushable.

Ratings: Pete - 5 Shyoh's

Picture
Exhibit A Leitmotif Opus 7
Sour - 5% ABV
Pete
Very good sour. I got some cherry flavor from it, even though there's no actual cherries in it. I had this at a beer & cheese event, and man was it bad paired with cheese. Great by itself though.

Ratings: Pete - 5 Shyoh's

Picture
Exhibit A Leitmotif Opus 12
Sour - 4.4% ABV
Pete
Pretty carbonated with a little sourness and a little blueberry flavor, yet still tastes like a more traditional beer. Well done. Keeps you wanting more.

Ratings: pete - 5 Shyoh's

Picture
Exhibit A Mindset Project Amarillo
IPA - 6% ABV
Pete
A little bit of creaminess and a good amount of mango flavor that yields a nice tropical IPA.

Ratings: Pete - 5 Shyoh's

Picture
Exhibit A Sunday Paper
Imperial Stout - 9.9% ABV
Pete
Pretty rich, with some dark chocolate flavor. I didn't really notice any coffee, though it is a bit bitter, so maybe that's from the coffee. Really, it just doesn't have that much flavor, but it hides the booze well.

Ratings: Pete - 4 Shyoh's

Picture
Exhibit A The Cat's Meow
IPA - 6.5% ABV
Pete
This is an outstanding IPA. It is extremely citrusy, which is fitting, because it looks like juice. I had this at a beer festival, and it was the best one there that I tried (out of ~40), so you know it's good.

Ratings: Pete - 6 Shyoh's
