Collective Arts Brewing

Hamilton, ON, Canada

Collective Arts Jam Up The Mash
Sour - 5.2% ABV
Pete
Smells a little funky, but doesn't taste it. Medium amount of sourness with a slightly hoppy finish that works really well.

Ratings: Pete - 5 Shyoh's

Collective Arts Life in the Clouds
New England IPA - 6.1% ABV
Pete
Really approachable refreshing IPA. A little lemony and a tiny bit of creaminess. I should note that I had this again after another week, and it wasn't quite as good, so drink fresh.

Ratings: Pete - 5 Shyoh's

Collective Arts Ransack The Universe
American IPA - 6.8% ABV
Pete
Super hazy-looking, though that could honestly have just been the tap at the bar (I've had that before there). Regardless of the looks, it tastes great. Super piney going down, finishing slightly bitter and extremely crisp.

Ratings: Pete - 5 Shyoh's

Collective Arts Rhyme & Reason
Pale Ale - 5.7% ABV
Pete
This is a solid pale ale. It's a tiny bit bitter, smells and tastes hoppy, but is pretty easy to drink. I would believe that this was an IPA or a pale ale, somewhere on the edge.

Ratings: Pete - 4 Shyoh's

Collective Arts Saint Of Circumstance
Blonde - 4.7% ABV
Pete
Exactly what you'd expect from a beer labeled "citrus blonde". It has a little bit of citrus flavor, but is mostly just a mild, crushable beer.

Ratings: Pete - 4 Shyoh's

Collective Arts Stranger Than Fiction
Porter - 5.5% ABV
Pete
This is a very good porter. It has some complex toffee flavor to go along with a little bitterness, almost like a good dark roast coffee. It is on the thicker side for porters, but not too thick to make it a struggle to drink.
