Cisco Brewers

Nantucket, MA
Pete - Went here around 3pm on a Friday in October. It was a scene. They have flights, though they aren't really advertised. They also have a winery and a distillery in their little complex. Live music, tons of people, I can't imagine what it's like in the summer. It's mostly outdoors. Worth checking out for sure if you're in Nantucket. Note they have free shuttles to/from downtown. Please tip the driver, they're helping you avoid a cab fare.

Cisco Grey Lady Ale
Belgian Witbier - 4.5% ABV
Pete
This is a really good wit. You get a lot more beer flavor than you would expect from a wit as the orange flavor is there, but it's very subdued.

Ratings: Pete - 5 Shyoh's

Cisco Gripah Grapefruit IPA
IPA - 5.5% ABV
Pete
Definitely taste grapefruit, but there's not a ton of flavor. It's ultra-carbonated, and not bitter, more tart and sweet, making it drink more like soda than beer.

Ratings: Pete - 4 Shyoh's

Picture
Cisco Hazy Peach IPA
Session IPA - 5% ABV
Pete
Ultra peachy and fairly light body. Definitely a winner for the summer.

Ratings: Pete - 5 Shyoh's

Cisco High Tide Hefeweizen
Hefeweizen - 5.9% ABV
Pete
Pretty great hefe. It's close to a Belgian Wit, but a little milder. This would be a great beer for summer.

Ratings: Pete - 5 Shyoh's

Cisco Indie Pale Ale
IPA - 6.5% ABV
Pete
This beer is really good. It has obvious bitterness but is still crisp going down. Makes it pretty easy to drink.

Ratings: Pete - 5 Shyoh's

Picture
Cisco Madaquet Double IPA - Island Reserve Series
Imperial IPA - 8% ABV
Pete
Fairly bitter IPA with a good amount of grapefruit flavor/aroma. Solid beer, but be prepared for bitterness.

Ratings: Pete - 4 Shyoh's

Cisco Pumple Drumkin
Pumpkin Beer - 6% ABV
Pete
Damn good beer. Easy drinker with a background of pumpkin flavor. It isn't too in your face like many pumpkin beers are. Big fan.

Ratings: Pete - 5 Shyoh's

Picture
Cisco Sankaty Light
Light Lager - 3.8% ABV
Pete
A little more flavor than a standard light beer, but it costs twice as much and has even less alcohol. Might as well just go with the Coors in the background of the pic.

Ratings: Pete - 3 Shyoh's

Picture
Cisco Shark Tracker
Light Lager - 4.8% ABV
Pete
It's just a light beer, but I had it during shark week, so why not.

Ratings: Pete - 3 Shyoh's

Picture
Cisco Whale's Tale Pale Ale
Pale Ale - 5.6% ABV
Pete
This is a nice pale ale that sets itself apart by being a bit sweeter than you'd expect, which balances nicely with a mild bitterness from the hops.

Ratings: Pete - 5 Shyoh's

Picture
Cisco Wandering Haze
New England IPA - 6.8% ABV
Pete
Big step up for Cisco with this one in the citrusy IPA world. Very light body for an IPA, real nice juicy flavor. Perfect for outside.

Ratings: Pete - 5 Shyoh's

Picture
Cisco Winter Shredder
Winter Beer - 8% ABV
Pete
This tastes like a fairly generic winter beer, and I don't really love the style. It doesn't taste strong though, so that's a plus.
