Pete - I went to this brewery in La Jolla, after hitting Taco Stand for dinner obviously. About half their menu is their own beers, and half other local stuff. It's half restaurant/half brewery, though I didn't eat there. It's a nice vibe, though I was in there at 5pm on a Tuesday, so it wasn't exactly crowded.

CAVU Major S.M.A.S.H. IPA
IPA - 5.3% ABV Pete Pretty refreshing. Almost a mix of a hefeweizen and an IPA, as there's some banana flavor in there. Ratings: Pete - 4 Shyoh's |

CAVU Winter Is Coming
Oatmeal Stout - 5.8% ABV Pete Smells super roasty. Flavor is more sweet at first, which fades into lots of warming spices. Much better finish than start. Not quite as rich as you'd expect from an oatmeal stout. Ratings: Pete - 4 Shyoh's |
