Backlash Bad Decision Juice
IPA - 4.7% ABV Pete Really delicious IPA. Smells extremely citrusy. Finishes a bit dry, which makes you keep coming back for more. Low alcohol + easy to drink = great day drinking beer. I'm not sure I get the name based on the low alcohol though. Ratings: Pete - 6 Shyoh's |

Backlash Basilisk

Backlash Central Square
IPA - 7% ABV Pete This beer is wayyyy better than the area it's named after. Super light-bodied IPA with a ton of citrus flavor. Really incredible beer. I'm not sure you can get Backlash outside of the Boston area (yet - 12/2017), but I'm sure you will soon enough. Ratings: Pete - 6 Shyoh's |

Backlash Conquest
White IPA - 5.5% ABV Pete This is a perfect mix of a Belgian Witbier and an IPA. It hits you up front with the orange and coriander flavors that you expect from a wit, then backs it up with a citrusy hop finish. Plus the label is awesome. Backlash Groundswell
Blonde Ale - 6.4% ABV Pete This is a great beer. It is light and refreshing. I thought it tasted quite a bit like a witbier, and apparently I was right, as it is brewed with coriander, which really gives it a lot of flavor that you would get from a white. Backlash King Cozy

Backlash The Great Molasses Disaster
Imperial Stout - 8% ABV Pete Definitely get roasty flavor and a little sweetness. It's so roasty that it's actually pretty bitter. I'd describe this as more of a black IPA than an imperial stout, but I love those, so that was a nice surprise. High quality glassware was used in the making of this review.
