Atwater Brewery

Detroit, MI

Picture
Atwater Decadent Dark Chocolate Ale
Stout - 4.5% ABV
Pete
This is a nice beer. It is very light in body and has a nice hint of chocolate. Don't expect a super heavy beer, and definitely don't expect to be blown away with the flavor. Still, I'd get it again.

Ratings: Pete - 4 Shyoh's

Atwater Detroit City Juice
New England IPA - 6.2% ABV
Pete
Very light body with mellow citrus flavor that's kind of all that's there. It's a nice easy drinker, but definitely not a NEIPA.

Ratings: Pete - 4 Shyoh's

Atwater Dirty Blonde
Belgian Witbier - 4.5% ABV
Pete
This is a solid, standard wit. Nothing really stands out, but there's enough flavor to make me like it.

Ratings: Pete - 4 Shyoh's

Atwater Vanilla Java Porter
Porter - 4.5% ABV
Pete
This has a solid vanilla flavor going down with a slight coffee finish. It isn't too heavy either. It's everything you hope for when you hear the name, no complaints here.

Ratings: Pete - 5 Shyoh's

Atwater Winterbock
Bock - 7.5% ABV
Pete
This is a pretty solid winter beer. I can't really put my finger on any individual flavors, but it tastes almost like a combination of a bock and a brown ale. It works.
