Almanac Apricot Sournova Fruited Sour - 5.5% ABV Pete Medium amount of sourness with a touch of funk. The apricot is subtle (as the flavor of the actual fruit is). I didn't immediately notice any vanilla, but I'm sure it would have been much different without it. Incredible beer.

Almanac Blackberry Sournova Fruited Sour - 5.8% ABV Pete A little fruity up front with mild to medium tartness, and a touch of earthy funk, presumably the earthiness from the oak. Really tasty beer.

Almanac BOOST Coffee Stout Imperial Coffee Stout - 9% ABV Pete Tons of coffee flavor with a little bitterness. Hint of vanilla balances it nicely, but it's primarily a coffee beer, and a darn good one.

Almanac Cherry Berry Flanders Red - 7.4% ABV Pete Great beer. It's quite sour, and also has a blast of fruitiness to balance it. The cherry comes out the most for sure, but the other berries round it out a bit. Also fairly high alcohol for a sour.

Almanac Cherry Picker Saison - 6.8% ABV Pete Not at all what I was expecting. It was pretty sour, kind of tastes like an oud bruin. Sour with some malty hints. No idea how they achieved that in a saison, but it's very good.

Almanac Cold Brew Coffee Barrel Noir Imperial Stout - 10.3% ABV Pete This is a very good imperial stout. It is smokey and definitely has hints of vanilla. The flavor hides the booze well, but it's still a sipper because it's incredibly rich. That's probably for the best. It is expensive though, more so than other imperials, so that knocks it down a peg.

Almanac FLOW West Coast Pale Ale - 5.5% ABV Pete This beer grew on me as I went through it, but even at the end it wasn't great. It came off a little peanut buttery to me. The maltiness just didn't really work.

Almanac Golden Gate Gose Gose - 5% ABV Pete This is a pretty mild, easy to drink beer. I was hoping it'd be more sour, and it didn't blow me away, but it's still good.

Almanac Lavender Honey De Brettaville Sour Saison - 6.5% ABV Pete Really good beer. A hint of spice, a bit of funk, and a good amount of herbaceous-ness, presumably from the lavender. As you can tell from this unreal photo, I wasn't exactly in tip top shape when drinking this, so take that review with a grain of salt.

Almanac LOVE Hazy IPA IPA - 6.6% ABV Pete Awesome beer. Tiny hint of creaminess in the texture (not quite pillowy as described). The flavor is a nice balance of citrusy and piney notes, leaning more toward the citrusy side. An incredible beer.

Almanac Peach Sournova Sour - 5.8% ABV Pete A tiny bit fruity, a little funky, and a little sour. Very dry finish. Quite drinkable, very enjoyable, but peach is a bit too subtle to really blow you away with flavor.

Almanac POG Saison Saison - 6.9% ABV Pete Awesome beer with a ton going on. You get the spicy from the saison, the fruity from the POG, and a little bit of spice from the Brett. Really really good combo.

Almanac Proof of Concept Saison - 5.8% ABV Pete Super super Belgian tasting, with maybe a little bit of hoppiness to it. Lots of carbonation make the flavor leave the tongue pretty quickly.

Almanac Raspberry Sournova Sour - 5.5% ABV Pete Pretty funky with a little raspberry flavor. I had much higher hopes for this, but it's still pretty good.

Almanac Strawberry Sournova Sour - 5.3% ABV Pete Tart, funky, and a little fruity. It's kind of like drinking a nice champagne with a strawberry or two dropped in.

Almanac Sunshine & Opportunity: Rosé Edition Sour - 5.8% ABV Pete All the flavors are mellow in this, but there's a lot of them going on, and they blend together well, making this quite delicious. Hints of funk, fruit, and tart/sourness.

Almanac Tropical Hopcake Sour IPA - 6.7% ABV Pete Collaboration with New Trail (haven't had any of those as of 10/1/19). Smells super funky. Taste follows but much milder and a touch of hops in the background. That may not sound all that great, but this is extremely well-executed. I'd drink this again for sure.

Almanac Valley of the Heart's Delight Sour - 7% ABV Pete As good as it gets right here. Medium to high sourness with a subtle fruitiness and maybe even a tough of earthy underneath. All of that flavor and it still finishes clean and crisp. This 375 mL bottle was $18 at the bar, and I still felt like I underpaid. Usually a sour at this ABV will be $10+ for a 5 oz. pour, not to mention that this should be purchased no matter what price you find it.
