Ballast Point Pumpkin Down
Pumpkin Beer - 5.8% ABV
Pete
This is a pretty good pumpkin beer. It has a ton of pumpkin flavor, more than most, and it has a hint of booze in the background that balances it a little.

Ballast Point Red Velvet
Oatmeal Stout - 5.5% ABV
Pete
This is...odd. I'm not sure what I was expecting with a beer called red velvet, but it literally tasted like I was drinking cake.

Ballast Point Red Wine Barrel Aged Russian Imperial Stout
Russian Imperial Stout - 9.3% ABV
Pete
Rich dark chocolate, lots of oak, and a touch of fruit. Excellent

Ratings: Pete - 6 Shyoh's

Ballast Point Sea Rose
Fruit Beer - 4% ABV
Pete
Pretty easy to drink, so it's got that going for it. Really, it just tastes like mildly flavored water.

Ballast Point Sculpin
IPA - 7% ABV
Pete
This is an outstanding IPA. It is hoppy, but not terribly bitter, even though it has a pretty high IBU level, you wouldn't know it. It costs a little more than most craft brews, but it's worth it.

Ballast Point Swingin' Friar Ale
Pale Ale - 5.5% ABV
Pete
Pictured on the left. Dry, citrusy, and a touch bitter. Solid beer.

Ratings: Pete - 4 Shyoh's

Ballast Point The Commodore
Stout - 6.75% ABV
Pete
This is just a great, classic stout. It is smooth and rich without being too heavy. I wouldn't mind a bit more flavor (like a milk, oatmeal, or chocolate stout), but as far as this style goes, it is great.

Ballast Point Trade Street Blend #10
Imperial Saison - 11% ABV
Pete
This grows on your as it goes, but it grows from horrific to tolerable at best.

Ballast Point Victory At Sea
Imperial Porter - 10% ABV
Pete
This is an outstanding porter. It's deep, dark, and rich. I didn't taste much booziness, but this was my 11th beer of the night (the rest are in the background there). I really loved this, just don't recommend having a 10% beer after so many others. I drank this right before halftime of a football game, and only remembered who won, no details, the next day (Steelers/Bengals playoff game 2016 - extremely memorable - shame I was too drunk to remember watching it).

Ballast Point Watermelon Dorado
Imperial IPA - 10% ABV
Pete
I like this concept. Throw a little fruit flavor into an imperial IPA to balance the bitterness. I was amazed how much watermelon I tasted going down. It took a few seconds after putting it down for the hops and bitterness to hit, but they sure did.
